London summer is exactly the same as Sydney winter. Hungary's current weather ditto. Just to make travelling easy. No shocking temperature change.

The fat Airbus A380 did not loose its wings.

The on-board entertainment system had two buttons: one said START and there was a more colourful one saying KIDS. Guess which button I pressed... ;) 

The touchscreen is for females only. It barely recognized my fingers. I thought I had a defective device, but halfway through I swapped seats and I had the same problem, while the woman next to me navigated with ease.

SKYCAM - the view of the pilots from the top of the tailwings. Wow! I always thought that pilots were seated in the front cabin... 

Joking aside this skycam is indeed very philosophical. You sit in a metal tube, 12km high, at speed 1000km/h and on top of that you have a real-time external view of all this happening. I also observed that summer rain is still snow a bit higher in the atmosphere.

Contrary to my previous memories Budapest is quite close to London.

My sister came to the airport so I had an easy transport to the home village. Early dinner. Then a walk with the new puppy. Looking at the village only one word came to my mind. Decay.

I am the world champion of not-having-jetlag. After arriving midday I had the full afternoon active then went to bed at 22pm. Got up at 6am after a solid uninterrupted sleep.
